This summer, Migdal Ohr partnered with NCSY’s Kollel Summer Program to run Yaldei Ohr - a transformational and immersive program for teens from the US and Israel. Students in 9th, 10th and 11th grades visited the Zoharim Youth Village on meaningful day trips to get to know the landscape and mission of Zoharim.

Led by Zoharim graduates, teens got to know the greenhouse, vineyards, and carpentry workshop. This was also an opportunity to learn about the agricultural laws of the shemita sabbatical year which is coming up in Israel.

We are looking forward to expanding this program next year where students will be able to forge even deeper, more meaningful and impactful relationships with their peers. We know that these bonds will continue to shape our future leaders as they go on to change Israeli society and the Jewish world at large!
