Therapeutic Riding at Zoharim Youth Village Gives Teens New Perspective
Zoharim Teens Reflect on the Value of Horseback Riding
Program Updates
April 15, 2022

If you’re a teen who’s been living on the streets, kicked out of schools, and estranged from your family, a horse may be just the friend you need to help you turn over a new leaf.

As David, one of the teens living at the Zoharim Youth Village in the north of Israel, told us, “Horseback riding gives me perspective and peace. It’s one of the only times I feel calm and can think clearly. Out on the trail with my brothers from the youth village, I can imagine a future for myself that’s different from the life I left on the streets.”

Thank you for being a part of Migdal Ohr and for helping Israel’s at-risk youth at a critical time in their lives when they need to find direction and purpose.

You have no idea how much the teens themselves appreciate and value every single opportunity that you provide for them to move forward.
