What wouldn’t you do to help your own child conquer their biggest challenges and rise above their fears?

That’s our attitude at Migdal Ohr when it comes to seeking out therapeutic programs and opportunities for underprivileged and at-risk teens.

This month, the students at Zoharim Youth Village completed the “HaGal Sheli” (meaning “my wave” in Hebrew) therapeutic surfing program.

The program was designed to help teens facing major challenges such as drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness, and abuse, conquer their fears and demonstrate that they can set ambitious goals and achieve them!

The adrenaline rush of riding a wave, getting up on their boards, and learning to surf is something that will stay with these young men no matter where they go in life.
