During the emergency operation in Israel, with hundreds of thousands of men called up to the reserves immediately after Simchat Torah, Ohr Yisraeli teens and mentors jumped in to help assembling thousands of packages of food and toiletries for wounded and displaced families as well as thousands of reservists.

These packages are filled with love and hope, keeping our people strong when they most need it. They've learned from Rabbi Grossman's example that we're never helpless - we can always find some way to spread light and be of use to our people.
