Finally! The toys made it to Israel!

Bnos Leah of Prospect Park Monsey joined forces with Migdal Ohr to send Chanukah toys to Israel. Despite their best efforts to get through customs and our follow up with the government, the shipment was delayed.

Last week, after weeks of follow-up, they finally made it to their destination and the result was even better than we could have planned!

While evacuees from the south of Israel have received considerable attention, the border towns in the north, evacuated since the war's early weeks, have faced significant challenges. Families in hotels, especially in Tiberius, which is more isolated and harder to get to have received significantly fewer donations.

The duffle bags, lovingly packed with hundreds of brand new toys by children from New York,  brought immense joy to children and their families in one of the north’s larger hotels. They were so appreciative of the friendship and love - a testament that we are truly one family determined to come together and persevere against all odds!
