We are excited to share a beautiful Torah learning partnership that we facilitated between the Yeshiva of Flatbush and the Machane Shura IDF army base.

On our last trip to Israel, the students from Flatbush learned how, since October 7th, the Machane Shura army base has been dedicated to tirelessly caring for wounded soldiers and identifying those who have been murdered or who have fallen in battle. 

Deeply moved by what they heard, the students not only donated a BBQ, but created a learning initiative to complete the entire Mishnah with the soldiers. Today, they finished the Mishnah and the students RETURNED to Israel to celebrate the completion together!

The Chief Rabbis of the IDF attended the event, underscoring the significance of this collaboration. Rabbi Grossman was the main speaker, emphasizing our commitment to strengthening the Jewish people through Torah learning, compassion, and Achdut, unity.

These young leaders saw an opportunity to connect with our soldiers in a way that was so powerful. They make us hopeful that the connection between the US and Israel will remain rock solid as we protect and strengthen Am Yisrael around our shared values.
