We were thrilled to see a great turnout for our Second Annual Men’s Night in the Country Club community in Teaneck. Many new and returning friends came to show their support in the intimate local atmosphere of being with the ‘chevra’. A few people even expressed that this was one of the first events where they got to meet many new people in their own community! It was a great opportunity to bring the community together while supporting a great cause.

Our Director of Development, Mickey Flaumenhaft, spoke about how the “Men’s Night” concept has become a model that is now being replicated in other communities and has led to the involvement and participation of many new supporters of Migdal Ohr.

Eli Katz, one of our co-chairs, spoke about how his family have been longtime supporters of Migdal Ohr and how as a child he twinned his Bar Mitzvah. G-d willing, he plans to do the same with his boys who are approaching Bar Mitzvah age.

This year’s event had an Israeli -Sabra style theme with fresh Israeli style food, a mixologist, and an Israeli shuk vibe! Raffle prizes were donated by several local vendors and all of the proceeds went to benefit the children of Migdal Ohr.

Thank you to our event co-chairs, Andrew Chaimowitz, Daniel Finn, and Eli Katz and to Baruch and Robyn Adams for opening their home and hosting the event.
