The Zoharim Youth Village celebrated its graduating class with moving speeches, touching tributes to the rabbis and mentors, and grateful parents who had seen their sons transformed before their eyes. 

There was not a dry eye in the house as everyone knew the personal stories and extreme obstacles that each of the graduates had to overcome to reach this momentous occasion.

As the boys stood on the stage, they talked about the road that they had traveled to get here. They talked about the past to discover themselves, to overcome addiction, to deal with difficulties and challenges without running away from them.

At Zoharim, they made friends for life, worked, learned, and received tools to walk proudly in life knowing that there is a big family, the Zoharim family, behind them.

In his moving speech to the graduates, MK Yitzhak Wasserlauf said, "When I arrived to Kfar Zoharim for the first time and looked the students in the eyes, I saw how this village saved them, breathed life into them, gave them the confidence they needed, gave them the love they so needed! It's not just them, it's the families that they will soon bring into the world, it's saving generations of generations!

I am full of appreciation to the students who took this journey, step by step, to change, to transcend, to grow, to take responsibility for their lives. What a privilege it is to be here with you! What powers you have to go forward - to build a life of leadership, to build a home.

So let me tell you, you are larger than life! You are our nation’s hope!”
