At Orot BaEmek School, one of the 15 schools in Migdal Ohr's network, celebrated the value of each student as they took the stage at graduation.
Under the theme “You Have a Place,” families, educators, and guests gathered for an evening celebrating the students they are so proud of. Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman, Mayor Yaki Ben Chaim, and school staff joined in honoring two powerful milestones happening side by side.
Eighth graders celebrated their graduation, receiving certificates and a special siddur to accompany them into their next chapter. At the same time, first graders experienced a moment they will never forget, receiving their very first siddur directly from Rabbi Grossman, beginning their journey in prayer with joy and excitement.
The stage came alive with student song and dance performances that reflected a year of growth, confidence, and self-expression.
Principal Mrs. Eti Buskila summed up the spirit of the school simply: “Every student has her own unique melody. Our job is to help her find it and believe in it.”
By the end of the evening, one message stood out above everything else: when children are seen and supported, they don’t just succeed in school, they grow into their full potential!
For supporters of Migdal Ohr, it was another glimpse of what their support does every single day.
