The needs of Israel's orphaned and underprivileged children are growing in the aftermath of the war. Let them know that we will never abandon them or turn our backs on their needs.
Caring for Israel's Most Vulnerable Populations
For over 50 years, Migdal Ohr has provided tens of thousands of orphaned and underprivileged children with the essentials, education, and empowerment to become some of Israel's most dedicated leaders.
Today, over 10,000 children, including newly orphaned children from Oct 7th, are in Migdal Ohr's care in over 24 schools, programs, and youth groups from the north to the south of Israel.
After a year of war, children who have already suffered from abuse and neglect in their lives have a long journey of healing ahead of them. They need YOUR support to know that they are not alone and that all of their needs will be met.
Embracing Evacuees from the Gaza Border Communities
After Oct 7th, the Israel Chesed Center was actively involved in helping Migdal Ohr's Magen Israel initiative take care of 4,000 individuals from the Gaza border communities, providing for all of their lodging, food, programming, and transportation needs. Today, as residents of the North and South remain displaced, Magen Israel and the Chesed Center continue to offer love and support to these families.
About Migdal Ohr
Migdal Ohr, established in 1972, is one of Israel's largest and most impactful networks of social welfare institutions. Founded by Israel Prize Laureate, Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman, the organization has had a transformational impact on Israeli society.
Today, there are tens of thousands of Migdal Ohr alumni serving in the army, holding government office, running businesses and community institutions, while building strong Jewish families of their own.
Take part in building the FUTURE of Israel by investing in children today. Before long, Israel's youth will be the ones taking caring of US and our children!
