How will they face their children - so excited for the seder - when they don’t know if there will even be a seder?
As you make your own plans, please feel their pain and ensure that Jewish families in need have a seder. They have immense gratitude and a sense of relief opening their doors to packages from you!
Dear Friends,
I’m Sivan from Migdal HaEmek. Today, I am packing boxes with my friends for Chag Saveah. It’s such a good feeling to know that my neighbors and friends will get these packages!
When my family received our package last year, I remember my mother crying with relief. She had been stressed for weeks thinking about how we would afford Pesach.
It’s hard to imagine but there are many children who go to bed hungry on the night of the seder. If not for you, they may not have a meal.
Rabbi Grossman always says that we are the ones to solve the problems in our communities! If you see a need, it’s a sign that YOU can do something to fix it.
Chag Saveah is all about achdut - unity - and bringing Am Yisrael together to help needy families. It’s about seeing families in need and responding with open arms.
Who can eat comfortably knowing that children are starving?
Thank you for making these deliveries possible! They remind me people that no matter what the situation, no Jew is ever alone!
Chag Sameach!
