Help them celebrate the holiday with dignity with generous food vouchers that relieve some of the added stress of the season.
Even though they might feel alone, let’s show these families that we are all in this together! Our hearts are with them.
Migdal Ohr alumni Maayan and Omri are one couple spending Pesach away from home this year. After October 7th, they left their kibbutz with their three children and are STILL living in a hotel in Jerusalem.
Omri has been in and out of reserve duty, while Maayan has had to create a new routine for herself and the kids.
Like thousands of refugees across Israel, they don’t know when they’ll return home. Maayan told us, “It gives us strength to know that the Jewish people are behind us - that we are part of a greater family. We’ll come out of this stronger.”
When we sit at the seder table, we say, “Let all who are hungry come and eat. Let all who are needy come and celebrate Pesach.”
Many of the people receiving food vouchers never imagined that they would be among the “needy.”
Let's show them that there is never a time or place when a Jew is alone. If you are in the position to give, please share your freedom and abundance with those less fortunate.
