The Migdal Ohr Kol Yaakov Boy's Choir

The Migdal Ohr Choir has been in existence for thirty years and includes children from all backgrounds and nationalities. It was recently renamed The Migdal Ohr Kol Yaakov Boy's Choir in memory of one of Migdal Ohr's founders, Cantor Jacob Rosenbaum. The choir is led by Choirmaster Meir Shevet, a proud graduate of Migdal Ohr. Each year, 25 new children are given the opportunity to join the Choir to expose more children to the meaningful Choir experience. The choir serves as a therapeutic tool which has proven to be highly effective in restoring and improving the overall physical and spiritual well being of children with significant emotional difficulties. Choir members are the school leaders and role models for other students at Migdal Ohr.
