About American Friends of Migdal Ohr (AFMO)

The AFMO is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that represents the fundraising arm of Migdal Ohr in North America.

Migdal Ohr programs in Israel are funded in part through grants from educational, absorption, and welfare Ministries in Israel. But these funds cover only part of the operational expenses. So fundraising from private donors and foundations is essential to our critical mission: to help disadvantaged children in Israel, and provide them with all they need to become responsible, happy, and productive citizens.

For the first time in our history, American Friends of Migdal Ohr has been awarded Charity Navigator's highest honor of four stars, 'exceeding industry standards and outperforming most charities in its cause."

Charity Navigator is the Nation's premier independent charity evaluator and analyzes the financial health and efficiency of thousands of charities across the country.
